Thanks for the nice comments guys, but as I reported on another thread in mods and repairs, once I clear coated the gun I discovered masking tape marks and/or glue residue on the paint and of course under the clear coat. I didn't spot them before which was careless of me.

The whole thing has to be done again and right now it's stripped and repainted black.

Anyway, I liked the way it looked for a few days.
