New to the forum, and thought I would share, what I think is a much needed improvement to this pistol. No more finger pinching and losing sight adjustment when loading!

Please go to the "For Sale" section if you wish to purchase the Slide Extender. Pick up available in local New Westminster, British Columbia. email me.

Very nice. Fixes one of the issues with P17. I might have to order a P17 and one of these extenders.

What a brilliant idea. No more getting my shirt or shorts caught when closing the stroke.
Not to mention being able to use a red dot, something I do enjoy in this pistol but as one can imagine it greatly adds to the hurdle of performing the stroke, as you have very little real estate left to work with.

The P17 is my fave pistol (sorry 2240, I'm still to warm up to you) and this would definitely prolong a shooting session, as the stroking is what typically keeps it short.
Great invention. And it looks so good too. Will have to seriously consider getting one. Oh and please keep your finger off the trigger - it was making me queazy :-P

I thought I would give this thread a bump.
I recently purchased one of the slide extenders, for my P17, from this gentlemen.
The product is extremely well made, and thought out. It is easy to install and comes with detailed instructions.
It is a real game changer for me. The extra leverage is quite noticeable.I find prolonged shooter sessions much more doable.
Anyway highly recommend!

With so much chat about the P17; thought that I'd give another bump for Dan.

I just bought one of his slide extenders for my P17.
