Howdy,

I took my wife's niece with me to visit my father in NB with my little girls. She is 14 and her parents have made her a vegetarian and scared her away from guns (father drinks the Liberal coolaid).

First thing we did is take her fishing. She was just going to come for the ride, but ended up catching a fish and going out again with my uncle. Cannot wait for her father to seethe photos.

Next thing I did was take her and my year old to the air rifle range. For a small town St. Stephen has an amazing air rifle range and youth program. I talked her into trying one; there was a $2000 Ancshutz on he table for her. I left her with my father and went to put the 6 year old in bed to find her back. She said she wants to drop basketball (which her father coaches) and start shooting ari rifle. I told her I wanted to be there when she told him so I could we the look on his face!

After that long speel I have some questions. Is there a youth airgun program in Ottawa where she is? If not are there any air rifles you would recommend her to started with? I have. CZ200T I shot,. but wonder if she should have something different as she may have to pay for all of it herself (maybe with some up from a proud nucleic Daddy will not).

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

A RedRyder (or the one Crosman makes) is usually a pretty good place to start but now that she's had a CZ200... it's hard to downgrade that much LOL.

Maybe you can make her small rifle with a Crosman 1701P and a shoulder stock? A Daisy 499 could also be a good alternative.

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun
