Just checked the gunroom, $99.95, normally stocked, and 495fps?!

Nice looking , but don't know if it's as good as the HW40 / P3. Anyways its price is 2 P17 , although it's still much cheaper than the German made guns, just hope it can has better quality than the P17.

Anyone here want to be the first buyer of it and give out a review?? [emoji16]

1348 views in this thread. Many of us are sure , just by looking at the few online photos and the price point, that it must be a dressed up P17. Stoeger management probably decided to put their only pistol into their product selection and had the P17 folks brand it for them. Other than a couple of non english youtube reviews, not enough yet for me to take the plunge.

Anyone bought this yet or have more info to share other than the few mostly European reviews on the internet?

Got to try one of these over the holiday ...
Its not as a good as the HW40 Beeman 2004 variants..
Power is 370 fps ...approx 20 fps or so light of a stock p17.
Top strap frame is not as solid or rigid..
Trigger not quite so good as cheaper HW40 variants but well down on the 40 excellent trigger.

Conclusion..i think this type of pistol has gone as far as it can go with a HW40.

Thanks clarky, I don't know why the few European reviews seem to be in favour of this one. Perhaps they have not had experience with the slightly better P17 and the supreme HW40

Not suprised that the reviews are ok for it ...there is nothing wrong with it but the HW40 a bit of a bench mark...your not going to better it in this type price range..

CanadianTire has it on sale $112 if anyone interested .Probably not many in any given store. 5 year repair only warranty. You cannot return used airgun for refund just because you don't like it.

Just picked up an xp4 seems pretty good. it is very similar to my FAS 6004 although a less expensive looking mechanism. Very accurate so far. The automatic Saftey is a bit of a pain but I can live with it. I paid the 139 at Canadian Tire but got a 20 dollar gift Card.

Seems easier to cock than the P17/HW40, probably because it's longer, you get more leverage.
If it wasn't 140$, I'd get one to give it a try. I love trying out new airguns.

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

On sale again at Canadian Tire- black in blister pack . $112.00. 5 year repair warranty when returned to the store .Covers manufacturers defects which would be determined at repair location. So may not cover some of the issues ( seals?) as in the very similar P17.

Return to store and repair right away while you are waiting?!

Doesn't it always say guns related need to deal with manufacture by the buyer himself and can not bring back to the store?

Something changed now?

I spoke to CT customer service. If repair required, return it to any CT store. It will be sent to a repair source to determine if manufacturer defect which will be fixed no charge . If due to wear, quote will be given for cost .Either way, it is returned to store. So you would have to rely on their honesty as to what issue is finally assessed. 5 Year Warranty seems very good, but not if the repair assessment is chargeable to buyer. We do have to remember that this appears to be a dressed up P17 with very few reviews to consider.

Forgive this question if it's dumb or beginner-ish please. But what exactly is "recoiless single shot pre-compressed technology" ?

I think that's the SSP?!

We have pistols - the world famous P3, P17, HW40, HW75 ; competition grade FAS 6004 etc...

Rifle - Daisy 853 / 953 etc...

Very nice guns with extreme accuracy and easy pumping ( just one pump and ready to shoot with decent power )
