Acquired a little 150 that needed a bit of love...leaked like a sieve when I got it, but an easy enough job to re-seal it.

Fun little pistol. :) Emptied it the next morning and tore it completely down. Washed everything, cleaned up the burrs on the screws etc and rust blued the steel bits. Trigger frame was stripped, mold lines cleaned up, bead blasted and painted.

Grips were being held on with electrical tape...tried something different...grips were repaired with Jb weld and painted with truck bed liner to hide the jb weld...not the ideal solution, but still very usable and not an eye sore.

Ended up making the screw I needed...not a big job, but makes for an expensive screw if you charge for your time lol.

Finished re-assembly about a half hour ago, and despite the rust pitting, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Not going to be "collector" grade, but I've got a fairly nice little shooter for my efforts. 8)

For what is not exactly a one-of-a-kind pistol, this sort of treatment is more than adequate, great work as always!

The thread below details my early experiments. Used the Laurel Mountain product from that thread on this pistol, boiled the water in a kettle and used the plastic container shown in this thread as a damp box (placed a small bit of damp rag in the container, put the lid on and set it on my heated floor....anywhere warm will work) and to hold the parts/water for conversion.

Very little is really required for equipment. :)

The 150 looks awesome Al. Nice job. The challenge of such a project is half (maybe 80%) of the fun though right?
