Lock and Load.

Although that sounds backwards.

Load then safety - condition 1 ready.

Interesting video and opinion Daryl. I especially liked the last word of your sentence: ''today''.

I saw somewhere that Sophia is on the level of insects, evolution wise. It's the early stage of a rather elaborate ''final stage''. It (Sophia) can recognize facial expressions, simple images and key words, much like a baby can. It can autonomously formulate answers to simple questions, but still needs ''guidance''. When allowed, it can also be connected to a common cloud (search the ''Singularity'') to share and learn data. It's not aware of itself, yet, but AI is learning exponantially fast. I saw that, in a week, it can potentially learn the equivalent of 20 000 years of human learning. It is currently limited by silicone-based chips, which are not ''fast'' enough, but intensive work is done on developping better materials, semi-organics among others, which will not have the heat and speed limitations of silicon.

Yes, Sophia is still a ''puppet'', but it'll learn, and evolve. I'm convinced we'll see a major breakthrough in the next 10 to 15 years, maybe less.

There's no fate but what we make for ourselves...
