I am looking at switching out the smooth barrel of the 760 that my son likes to a rifled one from the m4-177...

I believe it's only the barrel and a support that I need to order.

I can't find a website to order from...

Will the accuracy be increased enough to be worth loosing the ability to shoot BB's?

Is it capable of 1" groups at 10m?

Well unfortunately the barrel is obsolete according to gravel. 417-005 is the parts #

Might try scopes and ammo if they might have one in stock.

Might be stuck having to buy a whole gun for the part.

...or buy a 18'' .177 barrel and have it machined to fit the support.

Also called Gravel in Quebec and asked them about the part... They haven't gotten back to me yet either.

Keep you posted.

I can't even find a .177 barrel for my nitro venom...which is is also the same barrel for many other Crosman guns and STILL no luck....checked the Gravel Agency and obsolete.....To hell with Crosmans guns....maybe I'll just buy a rimfire instead...but I DO wish you better luck than I.

Grab a ol' cooey 39 or 75...Probably could get it for cheaper than the barrel shipped.

A $100.00 used .22 rimfire will outshoot a $2000.00 PCP....and with a lot less hassle.....no....I think I'll stay in the light and pick up a new Remington 597 from the local shop... :D See u in the powder burner section......

Heck I paid 80$ for my Cooey 78 Target, 150$ for my Marlin 70 HC. My Maximus PCP was over 300 and than another 300$ for a pump.

Exactly.....a .22 subsonic @1050fps is almost 100fpe....and probably not much louder than a powerful pcp.How much does it cost for a 100fpe PCP...and tank..etc...Is it REALLY worth the price???? I LIKE shooting air but only to a certain point.....

Sorry for the temporary thread hijack....Petee

Gravel has out the mk177-010 on their website...

Ordered it and a barrel support. After postage and tax was $50....

More tinkering in the future.

Fingers crossed.
