I didn’t support the tank at all, the npt fittings are super solid once they’re cranked down. It’s threaded about 1/3 of the way into the valve, which is pinned in the tube rock solid. I’ve even got a bipod attached to the bottle.

Same with the barrel, it’s free floated and only attached at the steel breech. That’s why I haven’t tried a longer barrel. It’s more accurate than I am the way it is, nothing but me affects the POI, but it still feels like a lego gun. I don’t toss it onto the couch the way I would a Springer.

You should support the tank though. I just made a spacer and used a hose clamp. Why put stress on a fitting?

Yep, sounds like a great shooter, but you'd be surprised how much stress is getting put on those fittings especially if you are using a bipod or putting weight other ways on the tank. One of those fittings breaks with 1500psi inside you could have some very dangerous projectiles! Canadashootingsupply.ca has some barrel bands designed to put on a crosman barrel and around a 13ci tank. I don't know if they'd work for you but might be an option?
Or do the hose clamp thing? It'd be better than nothing at least easy to try and see if it messes up accuracy at all.
