Thx Bob.
I did read that thread over a few times when I first purchased my 850. Wow!
Your results were amazing!!!
The shot string with the JSB Heavys look like they came from a regulated Gauntlet...well minus 1/2 the FPE...LOL Image
I ended up purchasing a Air Venturi CO2 Bulk-Fill Adapter and a extra 13ci bottle with reg from Pyramyd Air.
Hopefully all will workout and I'll just have to source out a heaver hammer spring.
Even if I leave the 850 on co2 I now have an extra couple of bottles with regs for my Gauntlet.

Thx again.

Congrats! You'll have lots of bottles now to work with [emoji846]. Handy if you refill via paintball shop anyway. [emoji846]

Here is one should work if someone just wants the adapter: New Paintball Air Tank Thread To 88G 90G(3oz) Airsource Co2 BB Gun Air Tank Adapter - Silver

Good Find!!!
Is that the one you got for your Qb78D?
Might just order up that one too for that price! And compare it to the one from Pyramyd.
Might be here before the snow melts...
Thx for the link.

For sure [emoji846]
I got the opposite one like this, New 88G 3oz Airsource Co2 Cartridge Cylinder to Paintball Tank Thread Adapter
http://s.aliexpress.com/yyieEBr2?fromSns=Copy to Clipboard
(from AliExpress Android)

But now I'm switching to a regulated tank and won't need either.
Epacket is actually pretty fast from AliExpress surprisingly, just don't order anything aliexpress regular shipping! Might never get it, or it'll surprise you for Christmas if you're lucky, lolImage

The more I read the more I think the length of the adapter will come into play.
The one from BA (in first post) is longer that the one I ordered from Pyramyd. But I'm hoping with a regulated 13ci bottle I might get away from modifying the stock on the 850.
BA doesn't have a link to ship to Cdn so I do have a email out to them.
If things don't pan out I'll have to use a buddies "shipit" address I guess. Image

Good point, the one I posted might be too short, hit the stock with the tank.

I have that one. Seems to work well, the stubby ones will be too short and the paintball bottle will not fit into the stock.

Hi Peter. Thx for posting.
Did you buy it from BA? Any trouble ordering it?
Wondering if you know your bottles output PSI, assuming you're using a 13ci bottle and what FPS your 850 is doing?

Hi.

I had the ASA adapter posted above that I bought from a dealer in Ontario for about $35 and another $50.00 in postage from there to Alberta .
I found the threads were poorly cut , and I had to sand them down so they would not damage the brass threads on CO2 port .
The longer neck also seamed to flex more with the 13 cu. inch bottle from JDSairman , so I bought the brass https://www.bakerairguns.com/product/bna-adapter-7/
With the exchange and shipping it was still cheaper than the one I got from Ontario .
BTW the regulator is set to 1200 LB on my setup for a 177 Hammerli 850 . I shrouded the barrel to add to the looks .
I have a small 3D printer and I plan to make a barrel for rifle .
This gun just shoots so damn good .

Thought I'd post up.
After getting the adapter for the Hammerli 850 from Baker Airguns and a spare 13ci bottle/reg from Air Venturi (also for the Gauntlet)
Found out you still couldn't screw in the bottle/reg into the 850 without modding (cutting) the stock. The reg would still catch on the sides of the stock.
I really wanted the option of going back to OEM and not modding.
Turned out maybe that was a good thing...put me on a quest for something just a bit longer.
Plus once the full bottle was on the 850, only way to empty it would be to put lots of lead though her or try and spin off a charged bottle.
Doable...but not always the best thing. 850 does not come with a degassing tool like the Gauntlet.
So...I purchased a couple of these.

Inline On/Off Valve Adapter PCP Airgun

Problem solved ! Image
It's a little hard rotating the knurled collar to isolate full bottle, but can be done.
And a side note- These work on the Ninja and Air Venturi Regs... but will not work on the UX Gauntlet Reg.

That was a great idea Dave! May I ask why they won't work on the Umarex gauntlet regulator? What could be the difference?

The Pin Valve on the Gauntlet's Reg (on the right) is recessed a lot more that the Air Venturi or Ninja Regs.
Even with the Gauntlet Reg screwed down tight into the inline on/off vlv, the center pin will not engage the pin vlv.

Good to know! Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking some guys down south would like to know that as well.
