Morning,

Long time shooter but new to the air gun scene. I have a 5 year old at home so finding the time to get out to the range is a little challenging...so I've got myself into air gunning as I can safely shoot in my basement. Also I think it will be a good way to introduce my daughter to firearms.

What I am wondering is how could I get into competitive air pistol or air rifle shooting in the area? I would like to eventually get my daughter into it too. Does anyone have a direction to point me in?

Hi Mark Welcome!
I'm sure someone will chime in with a link to locals clubs in or near Hamilton, Burlington area.
I know most Air, Sea Cadet are also involved.
I would check with one of the Gun/Ammo shops (check at the bottom of the link to view all club links near you) and give them a call.
They will have all that for ya.

Hi welcome to the forum.
The daughter of a friend joined the Air Cadets years ago and had a great time. I believe she made it all the way to provincial air rifle champion.
It was a real confidence booster, plus the other opportunities that are offered are incredible.
Worth checking out when your daughter is old enough if she has an interest/inclination.
