FIY - My Visa Card has already been charged the full purchase price, not that I'm complaining @ $399.00 CAD everything in including shipping.

The Alpha Filter has arrived at Express Air -just have to go out to the airport, walk the paperwork over to Canada Customs and then pick it up the parcel -will keep you posted.

The new Alpha Filter by Joe Brancato http://www.airtanksforsale.com/AlphaFilter/AlphaFilterDirections.html for use with the Yong Heng 4500 psi and many other compressors. A multi-stage filter with pressure gauge, moisture/pressure bleed and pressure build-up valve. This set up is ideal for filling a storage tank that has a pressure bleed valve. If one intends to charge a PCP directly, you will either need to purchase a filler hose with a pressure bleed built in, or, order the filter with the optional pressure bleed at the output. The reason for this is the filter has a pressure valve on the output which builds up internal pressure to 2200 psi prior to output -this greatly improves the moisture extracting efficiency of the filter. If and when the filter ever needs replacement media, it has an internal cartridge which can be swapped out.

Certainly one of the more expensive filters on the market, especially when you convert and ship from USA, but probably the best available today. Given the amount of money some have invested in high end PCP collections, an essential item to maintain original performance and protect your air rifles from internal corrosion. As the saying goes, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".

With all the reading and info gathered on these little compressors...it's not a bad deal at all.
I know Richard from Paintball Gear will have stock on these, so even if they don't last a long time or we find it hard to get parts.
Pretty sure I would just purchase another from him in a heart beat.

Glad your filter showed up! Can't wait to see your set up once our compressors get here.
I have a old steel projection table on wheels (like the Craftsmen on page 2) hoping to use.

Is there any new info on the shipping progress of these? Was the ship still on schedule for May 5? Thanks.

Haven't heard anything new.
I'll give Richard a few days and send him a text.
Even if they're at port...it will take awhile to process, unload, ship to Calgary and reship back to us individually.

Been in touch with Richard. And this is reply back.


Only guessing here... although he was told the container was leaving China port on the 15th of April...it was detained a bit.
Now the ship will not dock till the 26th of May. Or the ship is anchored here in Van and can't get to the dock till the 26th.
Either way...I guess we're waiting a bit longer.

Richard also got a letter from the vendor reminding that the compressors are shipped without Hydraulic oil.
And also needs a separate supply of water to cool them.

That said...Has anyone found a good source for 46 Synthetic Hydraulic Oil?
I found some non-synthetic Hydraulic 46 Oil. (5 gals pails).
But really haven't looked for any synthetic in Liter containers yet.

This is the reason I have not used my compressor up to now I can't find AW46 synthetic oil
I found at the Kubota dealer AW46 non synthetic, and I'm reluctant to buy it.

I was waiting for someone to mention this, and on top of it I have no spare cash lately.
