Does your bank charge you a fee for sending EMTs? If yes, and you know the amount, please specify in a post.
Thanks.

I use a credit union for interac e-transfer. Fee for sending is $1.00, and receiving is free... IIRC, once I turn 65 that dollar fee will be eliminated.

Not remember exactly... I use Simplii ( previous PC Bank) in Toronto, and it's free.

And I didn't cancel any transition so far, so don't know if there is a charge...

I bank with TD and all of my eTransfers have been free so far and I send a few each month. I did have to pay a $5 cancelation once though.

I like banking with TD, the branch hours are great and their Visa fraud department is great! They've saved my bacon twice, they're on top of anything that looks suspicious.

They now have more branches in the US than they do in Canada.

I just wish I didn't have to travel 35mins to the nearest TD, to do any banking. 15mins to nearest TD ATM to cash money.

lol ~ you just live too far away from town ~

I like Simplii is because it's the only one there without any branches and do everything online so they can just cut lots of cost and return it back to us. And I really don't know what I have to do my banking face to face with the casher...

But at the same time, I do use my HSBC accounts as major account for my salary deposit etc... Which famous of the high banking fees and limited free service ... However my branch just close to me and the ppl there I have been knowing well for more than 10 years... And the service is real good just for a simple example I never got wrinkle money bills from them, never happened once except one time I ask for the one dollars US changes...

Well I do live Rural NS. But I don't understand why put ATM green machine and no teller. I mean plenty of people get posted from across Canada and have their banking with TD. Get posted to a town where the Nearest teller is 30mins away makes no sense.

You know setting up a stand alone machine to work 24hours will be much easier than hire a ppl and build a house there for the teller (s)~

lol~ it's called cost control~ like we have lower price of almost the same rifle that comes with polymer stock not walnut stock ~ [emoji57]
