Wondering if anyone knows what I could use to clean some of this corrosion away from the bottom of pump?

I'm assuming most of the material is Aluminum?
Besides a small wire brush on the end of your dremel tool...maybe just an old toothbrush and some toothpaste.
As long as the metal isn't too pitted.
If you want it to really really shine!!!
Get some Autosol Metal Polish.
Once you use it you'll be going around the house or your car looking for things to polish!!!Image

It's all aluminum, I used it 2 yrs straight no problem. I didn't want to touch it if there wasn't a problem. I'm glad I opened it up. Maybe the pump wasn't greased enough when sold. Remember to clean it on regular basis. A small wire brush would work......ty I'll check into the rest.
