Could this new Gamo/BSA rifle could be a competitive HFT rifle for under $1000CND?

BSA hammer-forged rifled steel barrel
Multi-shot mechanism
10rd removable rotary magazine
11mm dovetail grooves (no open sights)
Built-in manometer (air pressure gauge)
Self-regulated valve
232 bar (3,365 psi)
2-stage adjustable trigger (CAT=Custom Action Trigger)

I've been window shopping for a PCP for a little over a year. Just when I like a gun a new one comes out that trumps the previous. First I liked the Challenger but the FX Streamline bumped it. Now this Gamo Coyote with a BSA barrel is making me wonder if it is possible to get a competitive HFT gun for under $1000? I wonder when it will show up in Canada?

For some reason they have one listed at $300US for a 'pre-order'?
Other than the lack of a suppressor it's the same as the $500 version that is in stock.

Interesting! They finally put the repeating magazine where it belongs~ below the line of the bbl. and behind the compression area of the tube...

Oshoot didn't come up on my search and thats an even better Canadian price than I expected.
This BSA Coyote is at the top of my 'First PCP' list. My number two choice is the FX Streamline that costs four times as much but is shipping right now. :roll:
