I'm always curious what type of pets people have? I rescue animals.

I have 6 fish tanks, 3 cats, 2 dogs. Well 2 fish tanks are empty hospital tanks.

Ones a 55 GAL tank with pictus catfish and angel fishes, ones full of just various types of shrimps, ones a Betta. Ones a Crayfish tank.

2 of my cats are rescues. One wife found before we met, and another was found as a kitten behind her mothers house. Raised it since 10days old.

Cleo the oldest. Normally beats up everybody else.

Image

Kira the fat princess. Only one we didn't rescue.

Image

Momo the one raised from 10 days old.

Then Echo, one of my first Quebec rescues. Was picked up only 3 days before she was suppose to be but down. Stupid Quebec.. The vets love her.

Then yesterday raced to the city to get Phoenix. Someone tied him to a tree and set the poor fella on fire. Again in Quebec. Reminds me of a old man.

I was shocked doing a introduction walk, with them in front and behind each other. We went to switch and showed no signs of aggression so decided to walk both.

nice pics you guys and great job adopting rescue pets-- luv it. .we always loved cats. usually always have had 3 of them from when they were kittens. bottom pic is a rare one of the three sitting together. peepers-- Mercedes and Heidi. top pic is Heidi -- miserable after getting her lion haircut.. middle pic is heidi and three porcelain cat statues having a secret meeting. I didn,t wan,t to ask what it was about for fear of a violent cat cult death. I wish that pic would have turned out better.

Gotta bigger one?[/quote. my wife was cleaning that day and she put the statues out on the floor. Heidi joined them and I managed to get a few pics. I have 3 bigger ones. but the one of her looking up at me is the one I resized to put on here.

I had cats in the house since I was a little boy, and I remember I would bring the abandoned cat babys home at the time, and my mother would raise the cats together with me... Once there were 8 cats in the house, 2 parents and 6 kids ~

But never have pet again in the house except two hamsters after I landed in Canada... But the short life of the hamsters keeps me away from them while my second one died...

The attached photo is the cat of my aunt, named GoGo. I loved to visit my aunt's house and play with him... But he's away many years ago due to age ...

Here are my 3 little girls. The "Liver & White" springer passed
away at age 16 1/2 a full 4-5 years longer than normal for the breed.
She hunted for 12 of those years.
The other 2 are thriving!

Here is our parrot; Gaugan - she is about 20 years old and can expect to live around 35 years or so.

We let her fly around in the apartment (with all the doors and windows closed; of course).

She talks and can say things like:

"Pretty bird"; "What are you doing"; "i Love you"; "Dougies home"; " Such a good bird Gaugan" and much more.

She is very affectionate and will nibble your ear while sitting on your shoulder (and she loves car rides on warm days!)

Pure breed Bloodhound "Wicked Lester". We had to follow the band KISS for registration. We just call him "Lester". Pure Breed Beagle is "Simba" and the Beagle/Jack Russell is Rumba.
