After 5 years of using a Leapers 3-9X50 scope on a TX200, the scope has finally bit the dust as it doesn't hold zero. I was perusing the Hawke site and the Hawke Airmax 30 SF 4-16x50 AMX intrigues me. The site states that the scope can handle heavy recoil, but nowhere in the print does it state that the scope can be used on a springer. Since the cost of one of these are in the 500 range after tax, I was wondering if any member on this forum has ever had one mounted on their spring rifle or knows of someone who has had the 2 paired.

Sorry I do not own a air max 30 but I saw the interview where the owner states the airmax line was designed for abuse from diana magnum springers. I use a regular airmax on mine, 12ftlbs, +4000 shots no issues.

Straight Shooters lists that scope as rated for hard recoil from springers. Hawke makes a fine scope. RC

Thanks for the response members! Awesome info as that definitely gives me reassurance to jump on this scope. AGS just e-mailed me stating that Hawke has a lifetime warranty on their products and also reaffirmed the scope is Springer rated.
