Where was all that time , never saw this one go by. I must have been abducted by Alien...

When I was looking on internet every time I saw it, I was thinking of my firt USP from Umarex, it was DA only and not blowback . Then last week while looking at AirGunSources site I saw ''Blowback'' . Had to look 3 times to be sure . Oredered it on wenesdday night, received it today (monday) at noon...

And searching for a review, couldn't find one so...

Unboxing...

1- In a plastic clam shell, Umarex style, gun, mag and the allen key + usual book's.
2- Look's awesome, overall finish is great looking.
3- Body is platic (polymer ?) with a very very small seem in the center very goog/nice finish.
4- Slide is metal, very heavy. Top (Umarex) quality.
5- Grip is good for my hand's (medium size) every thing is at the right place. Mag release is ambi, not the safety or slide release.
6- Safety is also a decoaker.
7- Trigger guard is long, easier for shooting with gloves.
8- Trigger is SA/DA, in DA as usual a bit long and a bit hard, in SA it is short and light, heavier then a 1911.
9- Working slide catch.
10- Full size drop out mag, 16 shot.
11- Working hammer.
12- Writings on the slide are not to much intrusive.
13- Weight is 2.4 pound, it's a heavy gun. If you don't like heavy gun, don't buy this gun.
14- On the bottom there is a rail, I'd call it a weaver but not a picattini.

HK USP's did not have picattiny rails. They had their own propriety mount. Gotta buy accessories meant for USP.

Your right it's hard to find accessories that will fit perfectly. But width is the same as a picatinny... so it's not impossible to fit something...

Shooting the gun

So went shooting the 1911, Dragon and the USP this morning. At the begining it was cold, Thermometer of my car saying 11c. So, I let the car running with heater blasting to keep CO2 warm.

Inserted the CO2 and tighted it, no leak, good start, loaded the BB’s, rack the slide, had to push it closed, then I got very worried, slide did not cycle correctly, staying half closed or double feeding, same problem as my M’n’P 40.

Ok it’s a new gun and it felt dry (no lube) on receiving it so I field stripped it and lube it,before going shooting. The only thing I did not touch was the mag, so I had nothing to loose, took pelgun oil and pourred couple of drop on the first BB and left it standing for the oil to go down... Half an hour later put it back in the gun and it work correctly, slide cycling ok , I’m so happy . Cause I love that gun... look/finish.

1- Noise is equal to the 1911.
2- BlowBack kick is about the same as my 1911.
3- FPS is announced at 325fps, 6 shot average is at 329.2fps.
4- Pulling the follower is a pain because the thing to pull it is so small, I used a small holder I made for the GSG92, worked fine.
5- Grip, I had a bit of adjust, because my left thumb was in the way of my trigger finger.
6- Accuracy, grip probably causing me to shoot left and low. First 6 shot where left and low outside the ring of the target, nest 6 shot left (less) again but hight was almost on the spot.
7- Shot count, you will get 3 mag (about 45 shot’s) a 4th mag is possible but will probably fail to finish.

Overall note, I give that gun 8/10, it lost point’s because of follower hard to pull/hold, grip and the slide not locking back all the time after last shot...
