I've cleaned up the posts in this forum that were most definitely not reviews. I have also turned off the sticky feature on a whole bunch of
posts that were originally stickied because they actually are reviews - to distinguish them from the inappropriate posts. I have gone back a couple of years, and now most posts at least somewhat resemble a review.
So, for clarification, and by definition, a "review" is an
original post in which the poster discusses his/her observations about an air gun or related product. Content
could include such things as specifications, fit and finish, performance, pros, cons, purpose suitability, value versus price, info from other reviews, comparisons with similar products etc.
An original post should follow the definition and description above. "I don't like the QB78; what do you think?" is not a review. Asking for opinions on the best "whatever" is not a review. Reviews are thought-out, somewhat comprehensive, definitely informative and, by the way, very much appreciated by all members.
If you are responding to an original post (a review), direct your comments, for the most part, to the reviewer and the product being reviewed. It's perfectly fine to respond to another member's post, but make sure that post is on topic and your post remains on topic.
Now, let's see some more great reviews.
Note to Dealers: Reviews of your products are welcome here - If they are posts reflecting your own personal experience.
