I'm taking the PAL course today. On a break at the moment. The class is full of kids! Everyone scrambling to get hunting licenses likely. But, oh man, I don't miss school... God, love ya for the ADHD... Thanks, bud...

Try going back to college at 29. After having a career in the Canadian Forces.

Only person in the room to get 100%

The ONLY thing I did wrong was i picked up the wrong rifle during the practical but he didn't dock me because I did everything right. And he just changed the order of the test around (3 rifles tested) He told me in the end that he didn't dock me because I did so well and after 13 hours... (Yeah, last one tested, he did all the kids and other adults first.) He said I'm going to kick myself when he tells me what I did... assumed I just didn't hear him correctly. I said my brain was fried.

So, cool... In 2 to 99 months, the government will send me the rest of the info so I can apply for my license. Woo...

PAL is super simple. Its common sense. But wait till you get on ranges. Some need theirs revoked for safety reasons. I fell asleep on mine I got a 100. Because most of the time I spent sitting in a gun store with my father. Plus I was in the Infantry so all was natural to me.

Guess congrats. You might see the license next year. You can go on the RCMP website and get the docs. Just scan a copy of your test results.

Congrats! Now a whole new world of options will open up for you. Better get the wallet out when the card finally arrives.
