I just took my hw30 apart and applied some moly. I cocked the trigger and put in the safety then the trigger group and pins. I pulled the trigger and click, perfect. When I cock the gun again the safety pops out the left side of gun and falls on floor. I tried at least 20 times and same thing Any ideas ,it's driving me crazy. Thanks for replies

Could someone post a picture looking down from the top of the record trigger. When I tried to cock the trigger out of the gun the part at the side of the trigger group rubbed so I pried the sides of the trigger group apart a bit near the little tab at the top right of trigger group

from what you described it sounds like you put it back together properly but you must have done something wrong
if safety is put in correctly it should not fall out...

Found the problem. The little tab that I bent out a tiny amount needs to be rubbing on a lever when cocked. I took out the trigger group of my hw35e to compare. I just bent the tab back to where it was in the beginning .fixed. I went to put the trigger group from the 35 up on the shelf till tomorrow. I put one of the pins through the hole and what happens, the hollow pin that holds the top piece fell off letting the piece and spring fall out. I checked you tube video and I have to take the trigger off to get the piece back in. Lots of fun!

Theres a video on you tube on how to reassemble the rekord trigger. Half the tme the guys hands and trigger goes out of camera view so you miss some important parts of assembly.
