Looking for feed back from owners whom have this pistol in their collection for at least a year. The public reviews from a variety of sources suggest it to be a long lasting quality and accurate product. Pros seem obvious but I’m look for any cons in functionality and maintenance. I read some of the info here within the forum, but some is a bit old. Thank you in advance for your time. Thinking of getting one. Pricey in Canada.

Solid German Made pistol; excellent quality; around 400+ fps.

Recommended with no reservations!

Yes!
Great Gun,
Quality Pellet Shooter.
No Blow-back though.
Which is over-rated, I believe,
Unless perhaps, You don't already have one?

Thank you for your input. Not into blow backs. Just an accurate quality shot for short range shooting.

I've had zero problems with mine in 4+ years. The German Umarex products I have are all top quality for the relative cost, and the interchangeability of magazines is a plus.
The 1911 is well built, well balanced, and easy to shoot accurately. I'm OK without the blowback feature, though others may have their own opinions.
This would be a nice addition to the shooters noted in your tag line...
Where are you located "North of Toronto"?

Interesting topic, I’m trying to decide between the Colt 1911 and the Walther CP88 competition.

They are fairly equal in performance, similar mechanics with both share the same revolver type loading and pellet mags.
Both are very close in price.
Guess it boils down to style and and personal fit to hand?

Yes it is. Open a post to get feed back like I’m trying to do. CP88 com is great quality, short range shooter that is accurate and works best in my opinion with dome pellets. Or just buy both if you can’t decide. :)

I bought mine well used here and have shot hundreds of pellets thru it and it's still working fine.
The grip safety doesn't work anymore, it doesn't need to be pressed to fire but otherwise it works like a charm.

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun
