I hear these get nowhere near the advertised velocity with lead. Price is pretty good, but don't take Cabelas' word for "regular price," either.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Crossman should have used the action from their 357/python revolver. Made it both single and double action. The double action 1077 trigger is just awful even after tuning and I wouldn't bother putting $$ into the wildfire. The single action would have made it livable. For a little more you can get a lot more from the current offerings in the value priced pcp's market.

670fps isn't bad if .22 cal. That is what my HW98 runs with standard pellets, 620 with 19gr.

Same here with my FX Streamline .22 on lowest setting -more than enough velocity to get the job done, and relatively quiet as well.

Oh - not good in .177. My Springer HW 97 does 890 with Predators & smacks field rats dead at 56 yards for me.
'Course, it cost more than $150.00 too.
