Go the Huma regulator installed and tuned . Pretty impressive , I’m getting 40 shots within a 10fps spread from 210 bar to 100 bar . Set the Reg to 110 Bar , found the peak , then tuned to 450fps with the JSB 25 gr kings . I probably lost a few shots but gained in the accuracy department from the little deviation in speed . Well with the money IMO.

That's awesome 40 shots with .25 very nice.
What way did you bypass the existing regulator?
Did you just crank it all the way up or remove the screw that goes through the white seat.

I went with the screw removal method . The report at this tune is like having an SSG , just a short snap sound .

Sounds like you tuned it well! Glad it's working good for you.
I wonder what makes some of the built in regs work well and some not. The gateway to airgun threads on this gun seemed to have similar experience of owners, some shooting very consistent, others never taming down.
Anyway glad you found a fix =)

I took it out hunting this afternoon after the tuning and got myself two Hungarian partridges . This is by far my favorite bird gun .

Also that plastic sleeve is usually bumped up against the breech. However I suppose it could be moved along the barrel to change the harmonics which effects accuracy as well. Maybe try moving that sleeve different spots and seeing if that changes anything?

thanks for the ideas wesb2007 but the sleeves is kind of fixed, the barrel would kind of go in the wrong way but its easy to tell since the thread is twice the length at the front. im going to fix the back of the barrel with a screw to see if it helps but i cant see that being the problem since it was only finger tight before

Ok sure. On some of the barrels that sleeve does move fairly easy.
I hope you can figure out what happened, no fun losing accuracy!

best part is, i was shooting 30mm groups at 15m with the iron sight when i thought "hmm wonder if i can leave this big nut on the silencer instead of the gun" lesson learned, if it aint broke dont fix it.

correct me if i'm wrong but i was always under the impression your not allowed to hunt with
a pistol, i'm not a hunter but i'm pretty sure i heard or read that somewhere ?

Yes people use pellet pistols all the time. Common is the 2240. You wouldn't be able to use one over 500 FPS due to being a restricted firearm, But sub 500 is legal.

OK good to know...thanks for directing me to that book like i said i don't hunt nor am i looking too do so
but reading that book is very vague no real clarification on that issue says to go to page 24 but yet page 24 says nothing
about pellet guns.... :?
so i phoned the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry talked to a nice lady but
she was stumped with my questions and couldn't give me a definitive answer...between the deference of pellet
rifle and pellet gun other then if a pellet gun is over 500fps its now a restricted fire arm to which i new already... :?
only thing she did clarify is that yes you can use a pellet gun that is less then 500fps for what ever falls under the
small game category
