not all PCP's have a regulator
the one's that do might have a sticky reg valve that may need a bit of maintenance
usually a creeping velocity or a fluctuating velocity is a good sign the reg needs to be lubed
don't just use any lube... must be a Dow 33 or 55....also check the seals and o-rings are good
and don't have any nicks or cuts...and make sure the bleed hole is not blocked

Pulled reg to confirm
Seat disk is captured tightly by reg bonnet and cannot move. Glue will not be required
Again creeping reg is a leaking reg.

How about using a different material than the hard plastic for the screw to seal against ? It’s the only path for HPA to get to the regulator piston.

Walter did you lube the regulator bevel washers before reassembling?
Did you get a chance to check it on the chrony for consistancy?
I think I'll take mine apart this weekend and check it out.

Tazz i did not lube the bellevilles. Never do
Dow 55 on piston seal
Mine seemsconsistent as far as poi
May need to shoot a full string over the chrony

Why not put Dow 55 on the regulator piston. (Just curious...)

This will be my first PCP regulator disassembly when I do take it apart.
I have had a paintball tank regulator apart before, it looks similar.

No just any rubber synthetic parts
Each belleville moves maybe a couple thou so not enough motion to need lube imo

What pellets are you guys getting the best accuracy with?
I only have Crosman hollow points, they work well in my crosman airguns but not with this PP700sa.
I read on another site, can't remember where, that the Crosman pellets didn't work very well in the PP700sa.

I had one snowpeak barrel that really benefited from a recrown. Might be yours could use one or maybe it likes jsb or h&n instead =)

With the regulator on these it seems that if it is inconsistent, these steps seemed to help on the two I worked on: taking it apart and then turning the reg in all the way so the pin on the other side is pushed out, then tightening that pin in til its tight, then loosening back half a turn. Then turn the reg back out again on the other side quite a ways. Put back together and fill up to 2000psi, adjust reg and hammer spring for desired velocity, (usually best to turn hammer spring up before turning up the reg to eliminate lack of hammer power), then fill to max psi and check again and shoot til satisfied reg is working. Lol, maybe this is bad advice, it seemed to work for me, though I still never eliminated creep.
