I've always had semi-autos, and just recently was thinking of getting a model that had both.....I don't know if I really need/want to shoot in full mode anyways, but perhaps owning a model that has that feature might convince me otherwise.

Can anyone share their experiences with regards, and recommend a model that fairs decent - I was looking into the Beretta line.

I got an Beretta A1, nice looking, nice weight and everything as a great replica.

But the accuracy just way below my expectation... Double action single shot is alright ( although shoots a little bit low and with non adjustable sights, so you have to get used to it...), but semi-auto quick shoot or full auto burst just you will never know where the BBs fly... Groups to about my opened palm size at standing 3 meters away from the target ... It's just to challenge the size of my stick on targets...

It's FUN.
It will eat CO2 fast but it's so much fun. The GSG 92 is pretty nice and has a nice and easy fun button mod. the steel force is a nice and cheap alternative.
The new Crosman DPMS SBR looks promising too.

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

Too bad there's not a version of the GSG that doesn't require to do the mod - not that it's difficult, but still things can go wrong.

What ever happened to the Drozd? That full auto had a great following and seemingly good reputation.

I got the SBR on my wish-list and hope to actually be handling it before the end of the month.. I can hear the aluminum cans in my recycle bin trembling even now!

SBR isn't out yet is it? It's definitely one to keep an eye on and look forward to hearing some reviews of it here.

SBR has out for some time, and maybe already sold out for some times in the stores already ~ :D

We got a good review on this one in the forum... Just try to use the search tool to find it ~

There's never seem to be stock - the demand is a lot higher than the supply I imagine.

The Beretta AP4 was like that too...I think.

There is!
Umarex has a licensed Beretta version and there's even a Crosman version of it available. You can't go wrong doing the mod, it's super easy, the metal is soft, just don't take a dremel or grinder. Just a hand file, a small screwdriver and a piece of tape and you're done.

The SBR is in stock, at PA and some Canadian retailers too now. I haven't shot it yet but I love mine. It feels super solid, the controls and buttons are very nice.
(The Hellboy is very nice too  )

It's fun. It uses up CO2 really fast. Accuracy isn't great but that really isn't what full auto is about:-) I find the appeal fades quickly so I usually load up the full auto airgun and go through a couple of CO2 refills then put it away again for a while. I like the fact that there are some full auto airguns available as I don't have grandfathered permission to own an automatic powderburner.
