Here's an update regarding hand guns in Toronto. TORY wants to ban ALL HANDGUNS and KEESMAAT wants to ban ALL GUNS AND AMMUNITION in Toronto. So now when they get all the law abiding gun owners to turn their guns in how is that going to stop the criminals and gangs from having them? The only ones left will be the criminals and gangs who will still have them. Do they honestly think that the gangs and criminals are going to all of a sudden obey the law? Why do they always punish the law abiding citizen? That's why it's an emergency for all gun owners in the GTA to vote for FAITH GOLDY because she is the only one who is in our corner. She's a gun owner herself and understands the ridiculousness of what TORY and KEESMAAT want to do.

That line of reasoning has ALWAYS mystified me..."Punish the good people if the bad ones keep breaking the law.…that'll teach them..."
I don't live in the GTA anymore...can I still vote for Faith Goldy? :D

No you can't vote in elections in Toronto if your not registered as living in Toronto. But it surprises me that there were only 155 views and only three reply's to this posting plus the fact it was shuffled off to an off topic section. For something this important it should be front and centre because it should concern everyone on this forum. It's bad enough that they want to start in a city the size of Toronto but that's just the beginning.
A little while back the whole of the city council in Montreal was getting a petition signed and to be sent to Trudeau to have ALL GUNS BANNED IN CANADA. I mean what's that all about. That's why every time they try this stunt anywhere in this country, law abiding gun owners, enthusiasts, hunters, target shooters, collectors should stand up and fight against it.

Actually I was only kidding about the voting thing...and I agree there should be more interest in this post...its sad that the best answer the government can come up with is to take EVERYONE'S gun away.

That's the problem with this action - they don't take "EVERYONE'S" gun away, just the law abiding citizens. The "BAD" guys will never follow any law they pass.

Seen the earlier rant while eating ice cream at DQ. No need to worry, There are plenty of people putting in the good fight. There are at least 2 huge firearm forums with people email, calling, writing MP's daily. With combined over 200K members.

All I'll say is, vote if you can.
