relax man , no need for the tinfoil hat lol
If you were on Facebook you wouldn’t worry about an “introduction” as you’d already be able to see who I am and what I’m all about.[/quote]

Actually it would be considerate of forum etiquette for you to introduce yourself. YOU came here soliciting members which at first blush is offensive.

It's a good thing there was no "forum etiquette" when I first showed up here- may have ended up elsewhere.

User profiles are there for a reason, and should be utilized.

F/B is a good way for me to keep up with friends and family. The format does not lend it's self well to the way I do things on bulletin boards such as this and others....

The point being here we appreciate an introduction.
Fb works for some things and if it is what anyone wants then go for it
Good luck and have fun
For airgun discussion imo you cant beat an actual forum.

FB actually is not a bad thing...

I have registered ny FB account for many many years, however myself seldom post things there as too many other social apps especially if you are not coming from that culture background, you have other choices from your mother country etc...

So, I don't have FB installed in my mobile equipments but I will check on the updates from the email notification regarding my other friends who I followed from my desktop...

So to me, it's just add another name on the FB notification list, and I think I would love to see more pics which I see less on the forum ~

Sent from my LG cellphone

There has been a CAF Facebook page for a few years already. 106 Followers so far.
As for privacy.......the minute you turn on your computer or phone, you have pretty much given away your privacy.

I seem to in minority here but I can see an interest in a FB page.
Just posting pictures... it's soooooo easy on FB compared to here! I can see a few more and don't mind FB knowing how old I am and what my interests are.
No adress, no workplace etc. but like most are saying it's a personnal choice.

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

Same concern. Don't see the interest or the need. Unless simply seeking to develop a very 'local' discussion/interest group.

Alot of us here have found interest in frequenting and posting on the american forum assurances deces (GTA Forum) as well as other 'airgun' forums currently active on the 'net'. These are very interesting and provide a broader spectrum of knowledge and experience which combines well with the mission and scope of the CAF iMHO and IMPO.

You're absolutely right. And then, to exchange and communicate on the forum makes it possible to keep the contact and to inform oneself.
