Exactly! A kid could get tired of missing what he's aiming at but with the Slavia, if he's doing some kind of effort, chances are he'll get a hit!
It's one of my favorite airguns and no doubt my favorite springer. I have more expensive, much nicer looking, more accurate, more powerful springers but they don't offer the fun factor of the 618.

Another one to think of that fits in between the slavia 618 and the diana 24 for size is the diana 20 .
The difference in power is considerable in around 300 fps for the 618 and just under 500 for the diana .
Not bashing the 618 still shoot mine got it when I was 8 .
My first rifle it turned 43 years old this Christmas
