They were marketed under a variety of different ways.

Some wore the Charles Daly label, some Ruko, and God knows how many store brands.

Give gunparts Corp a try on line. You might want to give armscor of the Philippines a try on line as well.

Have a 20 D gen 2 here that is now my wife's gun. It is very accurate and the 15 round stick mags are a lot of fun.

Still shoot mine that I bought new over 40 years ago. Love it and shoots bang on still after all these years. Still my only 22 and never needed another one. I would match it up against anyone shooting any brand of 22. Hope you find parts for it. CHEERS!

Tried Numrich last night, and out of stock.

Have you tried Armscor of the Phillipines web site? There's a customer service link there that may help.

I have tried all the places I could find on the net including the 2 mentioned and appreciate the replys ..thank yous

They are accurate 22's which is why I have kept it while so many have come and gone, I am attempting to build it myself but is going to be a whole lotta trial and errors with just hand tools but hope something or someone comes along with a easier solution
I am surprised it has lasted so long with this being the only issue ever and that is the most used rifle I have...why would anybody makes gun parts from pot metal anyway

How are you legally getting the parts out of the States?

Ship them. He's not breaking any law. I searched Brownells and Numrich and was no restrictions on shipping triggers. Its a Squires Bingham trigger, ain't like hes smuggling a gun.

Is that a 15 round clip and fires from an open bolt? If so, it identical to my Ontario Ground Hog Hunting partner and school mate.
We sure had fun on the ground hogs, Warren with his Squire Bing (I think) and my with the Ruger 10-22. That is until we went centre fire - THAT is where it's really at.

The 20 series has an independent striker. Closed bolt operation.
There was a Franchi that fired from an open bolt....

Gotcha - the firing pin was a raised part on the bolt face, ran vertically, 6 to 12 o'clock, right in the middle.
Left a pin mark, caved in section, top to bottom of the fired case.
Steel action, with wooden forend in front and wooden butt stock behind.
Had a long stick 15 round mag.
I can picture the gun, but didn't know the make.

Exactly, straight from Numrich
Had to modify the type 2 a little to fit but is working great
It does have a 15 rnd mag but only put 10 in as it tends to jam with any more than that, I have the ruger 10/22 but this Squires will outshoot the Ruger which is why I have kept it for 20yrs

Numrich is great. I'm glad they got rid of the retarded 40$ fee.. So shipping is reasonable now. Great for obscure parts. If they got them in stock.

They were great when CBSA decided to break a USGI M14 stock. That was at the time legal to ship. Never did get my money back from CBSA for wrecking it.. And I know they did.. Because was a white box, their tape and plastic bag.

They are great source for the tough to find parts and some smart guys on the forum...as for the cbsa, makes you wonder what happens to the stuff that gets refused or never delivered
