Something to do during this week holiday. Fixing my last CR622.
The Co2 seal had dried up and needed to be replaced after so many years I haven't shot it.
It wasn't too bad. It was about 3.5 to 4 hours of work. If I had 3 hands to hold the damn springs it would be less time .... lol.
Final test I put thru 3 cartridges of CO2 and it holds very well and shoot flawlessly.

I was wondering if CR400 => CR160 => QB78 => QB78Deluxe => XS60C

QB 78 is a copy of the Crosman 160. The Crosman 400 is similar to the 160, but with a repeating mechanism.

The XS60C looks like a "cheaper to make" version of the QB 78.

Yes, the 160 .... (edit cr77)

If my memory served me correctly those CR622, 99, and 400 used the same valve.
I just found in my collection box some brand new replacement valves for them.

I acquired it from Dave in Toronto ("helipilot" for you long-timers) back in May 2012.
Not sure where he got it...
Awesome shooter, though I've always wondered how it ended up this color...

For those interested, here are a couple of current shots of the famous red CR99 above (and Dallas the Wonder Dog).
Apologies to Dan for hijacking his thread...
