Ah been that long .I guess that make me 6 today LOL the hospital is 5 min from my house your just lucky and have a very smart wife as i remember you had to go Vancouver lot more than 5 min (Smart wife ) or you probably not be here ...........Any way Bob be well and don't do it again .......

Yeah, ambulance (which took 45 min. to get to Coalmont) took me to Princeton, where they stabilized me and shipped me on to Penticton.... A week later they took me by aircraft to Vancouver General, where they installed the ICD/Pacemaker.... The weird thing is I don't remember anything from the night before it happened until over 50 hours later, when I remember playing Crib with my daughter.... except for a few moments about 30+ hours after it happened I have a brief recollection of some family faces and being told I had a "heart attack", which it turned out wasn't the case at all.... but was the simplest way to tell me why I was in the hospital....

We can both (and our wives) do without the drama of a repeat performance, thank you.... :roll:

Life can be hard sometimes. Glad you got though it. Got told to go home from intensive care and get some sleep as my wife was dying anyways. She is still alive two years later. Pretty much bed ridden now and on oxygen but we are making it work.

Enjoy everyday as life as you know it can change over night.
