Cool. Looked like a lot of fun. Something I wouldn’t mind doing one day.

That's a long ride on the Woodridge photo-set.

I do the bulk of my hunting not even 20 miles N/N-W of the Woodridge start point.
Those "non-maintained" fire guard roads are really nice in the fall for access.

IIRC, there's another loop type snow-Man trail that has it's head just off the TransCanada highway on F/G #26
, about 5 minutes east of Richer. Some pretty good elevations and hills on some points of that one...

The ride was 168 miles. I've ridden eastern and southern Manitoba extensively over the years and have several riding friends from Winnipeg I hook up with frequently. I buy trail permits for North Dakota, Minnesota, Manitoba and Ontario every year and average 6,000+ miles a season. My next ride is tentatively scheduled for Sunday riding out of Headingley with some of those Winnipeger friends.

That's awesome! Brings back fond memories for me of spending the days snowmobiling. Wonderful you have the chance to get out like that and take family with you as well. I'm sure your grandson will always remember that trip!

I haven't ridden since I was a kid.
The machines and gear have come a heck of a long ways since that time...
Good luck on your Sunday ride. Ride safe.

That looks like fun - but we left Manitoba 50 years ago - because it was too cold. We visit every year, but when the mosquitos are out.

It looks like you rode past my Uncle's farm near Swan Lake!

Stay warm.
