Mine is perfectly tight with the drywall screw installed and a very slight bend in the V area that is just behind the 2 screw holes that attach onto the grip frame.
The V area stops the up and down movement and the screw stops the side to side movement and a bit of up and down movement.
You need a vice to make the bend. It took me 4 tries before I got it right. This needs to be done with patients very slight bend for each try.

Mine is perfect!! :D

Something to look out for with the stock installed...

I noticed my holdover numbers weren't quite lining up with what I thought they should be. Ran it over the chrony and I had lost 50 fps from where I had tuned it.

I assumed the hammer adjuster nut had worked loose, so I removed the grips to get at it. Sure enough, with the grips and stock removed, my fps was right back where it should be.

Turns out there was a little bit of friction on the hammer from the stock (I may have compressed the tabs on the stock at some point). Opened the tabs up slightly with some pliers, now it's only dropping about 10 fps once assembled.

I did questioned that a bit when I put the 3rd hole in. Might have to sand it down a bit.

I found it quite accurate with even the wobbly stock.

Yeah cheap pot metal, doesn't take much to snap it. But mines rock solid now.
