Of the two, which is said to have better accuracy, and/or easier to modify?

The PP700SA is regulated, but single shot, and the PP800 has a 7 round mag in .22, but is unregulated. From what I have seen in reviews, they are probably similar in accuracy I think?

Depends on what you want. My PP700 is very accurate, at least seems so.

Did some shooting today, ALL at 20 yards with both the Gauntlet on CO2 and the PCP PP700, both
from a rest.

Top Target Group:
The top 4 10m pistol targets were shot with the PP700. Not good, but not too bad as at 20 yards. Rested, of course with a red dot sight.
Top left was 5 shots circled, with Predator Pellets 16.0gr. 6 shots in total.
Top right was 5 shots circled with 19.09gr. Barr. Hunter Ex. HP's, 6 shots in total.
Bottom left was 10 shots with 21.30gr. Barracuda Match RN.
bottom right was 5 shots with 19/09gr. Barr34e. Hunter Ex. HP.

Bottom BR Targets:

The middle target (19.09gr. Barr. Hunter EX. HP) and upper right (21.30gr. Barracuda Match RN) were with the pistol, rested.
The top right is 20 shots, the middle target holds only 5 shots.

The top left & bottom two bulls was with the Gauntlet rifle and 14.34gr. Crossman HP pellets.

I am hoping my 800 does as well, when it comes in. I expect, if it does, I will be mounting the red-dot on it, or getting another red-dot sight.
I may sell the PP700, we'll see.
Coming with adjustable iron sights is a big PLUS to start with!

Here are the last 10 meter targets I shot with the PP700S-A.
The pellets used, are marked but hard to read when enlarged. The top 2 targets are 10 shot - left with Crossman Copper| Head FP, right with Predator 16gr. Pellets. The bottom targets are both 5 shot. Left with
16.0gr. Predator and right with H&H Barracuda Match 21.30gr. RN.

All with Red dot sight, using a rest.

Thanks for the accuracy results. Looks like the PP700SA is more accurate then me... :)

I ordered the .22 demo unit from CSS.
