Howdy All,

New to this board. I was wondering if I could get a little advise.
I have a Walther CP1 in my possession and was wondering the value.
It comes with cylinder weight, spare O rings, wrench and the Walther briefcase.
I don't know if my picture worked.
Cheers

Kenner

The text says CP1 but the tag in the case say CP2..don't know the difference myself but as a CO2 pistol in today's market, it isn't likely to fetch near what it cost new.

I did a quick Google and found this from the 'images' section and a link to a 'collector's' website that had a product review from the early 1980's.
The CP1 and CP2 were CO2 match target pistols that were identical visually. The CP2 differed with a removable trigger unit . CP1 was introduced in 1981 and the CP2 released in 1983. The CO2 cylinders need to be bulk filled unlike the more recent CO2 airgun pistols or rifles that are charges with CO2 from 12g Capsules that are available in stores.
Interesting find...but the person seeking value here would need to describe with what type of fitting (fill port ?) the pistol's cylinder had to connect to the bulk CO2 source and at what max psi. Then it could be determined if the pistol could be put back into operation today using HPA. Only then could an estimate of 'usable value' could be determined seems to me.

Why wouldn't it just be filled with CO2 since that is what it is designed for. I have never heard of anyone using compressed air in these old CO2 match guns.

Does it come with the CO2 fill adapter?

You are right Duke! I was going by memory (poor) and not looking at my own picture. It is a CP2.

Hi Mac,
What is in the box is all I have. I was told that they came with tow cylinders.
There is a little brass piece but I was told that it is a bleeder of some sort.
