I have a silver streak that’s made in Racine with the push pull safety. I acquired an old 2 piece Sheridan scope mount. I tried installing on the streak but it’s loose even with the screws tight, I put some tape on the barrel. It worked but it’s not a permanent fix. Any ideas to make it work? The mount is black, about 3 inches long and aluminum. Thanks

Could a thin piece of brass tubing from a hobby shop be used to make a shim ? It could be slit and put over the barrel .
Without some pictures its kind of difficult to diagnose the problem .
