Hi Guys! Here is the start of a bit of a review on the Rebel.
My first pistol to test was the 177.
Here is a string that wasn't all that encouraging, but not terrible. Just a bit disappointing that it has a steady velocity decline, but still a fairly useable string in the middle.
177 7.4gr H&N

Rebel 200bar
457 479 451 455 445 444 445 460 err 433 437 448 444 - 439 436 434 433 426 414 438 436 431 420 435 - 415 414 421 407 406 432 423 399 419 415 418 402 406 406 415 400 407 410 150bar

I was having trouble getting the breech off this one so moved on to the 22. It was showing the same pattern. Around 410 at 150bar and 470's at 195 bar, so took it apart and put in a lighter hammer spring. All these shots were using 16gr air arms pellets except one 14.35gr Jsb I shot for reference to show where it would be with 14gr.

Rebel 22 190 bar light spring
414 400 397 404 404 402 err 404 426 418 err 416 411 423 431 424 422 425 437 431 436 err 435 429 err 439 err 440 462(14gr) 446 453 451 453 458 454 451 446 457 449 448 446 447 437 422 427 411 416 407 115bar

Much better bell curve, and probably at least 30 useable shots. Not too bad!
Velocity of course could be increased a bit by drilling the transfer port out a tiny bit, but as shown with the one 14gr pellet it's shooting somewhere in the 480's I assume at the top of the curve.
Interestingly as shown in the picture, the Chaser barrel is shorter than the Rebel, making it probably the Rebel a little more efficient.

I'll show the improved 177 next and later stick in a regulator and see what that does.
Regards,
Wes ImageImage

A comment on the grip on these. I find it quite beefy but nice. Reminds me of a muscled bull :D.
Fits pretty good in my hand, though I wouldn't want it any bigger.
Nice pistol!

Here's the improved shot string for the 177, using 7.9gr crosman. Starting at 140bar and ending at 80 bar.
140bar
448 448 450 449 456 452 err 459 462 465 460 461 468 461 468 463 470 471 471 469 473 475 475 468 468 474 474 474 err 475 477 err 476 470 477 478 477 478 err 472 475 476 474 474 467 460 454 448 80 bar
48 shots is pretty good!
Also super easy to pump back up =).
I had to cut the cp1 hammer spring by one coil as it was shooting just over 500fps with the 7.9gr. Too bad as it allowed the pressure to be filled higher. This is still a great shot count for such a small tube though!
Pump it ten times and you're back shooting again =) (maybe slightly exaggerated but not by much!)
Regards,
Wes

Here's a few more guns in 22. Each is a little different. I had to drill out one valve to get the velocity up. 14.3gr pellets
Here it is:
200 bar
440 450 442 439 461 454 471 464  474 469 472 err 479 484 484 484 err 481 486 486 490 491 492 496 491 492 489 468 474 450 450 445 441 445 435 438 429 130 bar

And here is another I didn't drill out that wasn't bad with just a hammer spring trim:
200 bar
453 443 447 449 452 450 450 453 456 471 468 461 465 460 464 471 465 472 467 471 468 474 471 467460 448 459 434 145 bar

Here's a comparison of the Cp1-M (on bottom) and the Rebel. Quite similar but different =) Image
