I was thinking of trimming the hammer spring on my Diana Chaser in the hopes of making it a little more efficient and making it a little quieter. i was wondering if anyone knows where i might be able to buy a spare spring in case i take too much off or i just want to return it back to its original configuration.

As a general question, what do you do if you are need a hammer or trigger spring for a less common airgun? Do you measure the original and search online for a something similar?

I've got some but I think you are asking for a spring supplier?
