Hey guys I just picked up a Benjamin classic 22(495fps)and was wondering if any of you guys have experience removing the plastic muzzle “break” on the barrel. Was lookin at putting iron sights on.

Is pressure fit, just pull it straight off. This part serves no function except cosmetic.

Just check to make sure there isn't a setscrew underneath, loosen it of course if its there. Then gentle heat from a hair dryer and beat it off. I did a sight removal back in the day... here it is. topic41528.html

If the barrel has a tapered flat spot on top you should be able to slip a stock Crosman sight on it. The one in my picture is way old school.

Awesome thanks guys, put it in front of a space heater and hand pulled it off lol. Any you guys have any tricks for putting on iron sights? Or were to get a nice set? Thanks again
