You're welcome. Hopefully you can get it working well. It should give you a whole pile of shots!

Hi Wes, thanks for the advise, I am now getting regulated pressure.
The problem turned out to be regulator adjustment, I started by tightening the adjustment screw all the way, then back off a 1/4 turn to begin my fine tuning.
So far I am getting 75 bar constant pressure and pellet speed at 480 ft/s with very little variance between shots, also getting over 100 shots per 160 bar fill with same or better accuracy.
Very happy with the results. Thank you! I guess the lesson learnt here is not to trust the adjustment screw indicator reading on the regulator. [emoji12]

Sorry, I lied. Based on actual testing, I am getting around 75 shots before falling off the reg with a 200 bar fill. Still pretty respectable. [emoji12]

100 shots were estimated based on bleed off shot count, I guess that was not accurate enough! My bad!

Retested with 200 bar fill. Falling off regulator after 75 shots. Accuracy is similar to rifle with no reg installed (such as previous results). Shot string useful range extended from 55 to 75 shots.Image

That is fine accuracy for a .22! Nice shootin!

Any one know the volume on that tube with the reg installed?
Inquiring minds wanna know

I have a 2nd Discovery 3-9 X 40 A/O coming soon.
I will have to see how well my Artemis pumper will do on groups.
Don't have that weight of JSB's here, but do have the 18.1 gr Heavy.

Might be able to squeeze in a group that tight with the .177 pumper version....

Thanks Doc!

Here is a rough calculation based on a web photo and known original tube volume of 100 cc. With reg installed, it should still have 92.8 cc.

Hi Tom, I'm wondering if that 100cc is accounting for the gauge block? That takes up quite a bit of volume. I'll measure today to see if I get a chance.

Just figured it out and it wasn't accounting for the gauge block, so you are doing pretty good efficiency! Without your regulator installed and including the valve it looks like it's only 93.2 cc.
Without gauge block its 100.89cc (not possible without something replacing gauge block like a lane regulator.
So with a lane regulator you will probably have around 92-93 cc, and you'd have to recalculate your volume with altaros reg, subtracting 6.8cc.
Anyway back to work for me!
