So, I was out in my old barn last night setting up my lights and some cans for plinking when I accidently kicked the extension cord loose plunging myself into complete darkness  Pulled my trusty Mini-Mag light out of it's hip holster so as not to do myself injury while searching for the end of the cord and panned around the barn. EUREKA  as the flashlight beam passed over the target cans little horns grew out the sides of my head  I picked up the Quest 500 and holding the flashlight under the forstock peared through the scope and burst into excited giggles  WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THIS BEFORE!!!

Spent the next 2 hours stalking and killing cans sniper style!! OMG this is soooooo much fun!!!!

Any suggestions for a barrel mount for the Mini-Mag or similar type flashlight?

Geoff

Try a lazer sight, i found it better then a flashlight.
You can actualy shoot from the hips if it is well zero in.

Plus a setup like that will not block your open sight because you can see right through the lazer mount.
It will mount on your Quest scope rail.
