i found a western haig cap/bb gun and went to buy some roll caps to use, but they were only about half the size of the insert on the gun. i have seen larger caps before, but i couldn't find much info online about the different types of roll caps. if anyone knows about this weird bb gun please let me know.

also wondering if this gun needs an R-PAL since it is technically a cap and ball pistol.

Where did you find it?

Don't think you are going to need a PAL for this one, as it may never shoot faster than 100fps, if you ever get it working. If the "Godfather of Airguns" can't get it working, I doubt anyone can.

Read Tom's article on it.

But will be an interesting piece to own. Please send pic's keep us posted.

For $10 I think it is a steal, even if you never get it working.

Good luck. It defiantly is a vintage early BB gun.

I suspect it is worth a lot more than you paid for it.

Might try to contact Tom for help.
