Got these Serbian made pellets on sale at Princess Auto tonight. There were only two plastic tins left at the Panet rd. store.

They appear to be fairly well made, if not slightly oxidized...
Not seeing any lead flakes or out of round skirts. For $3.33 and taxes, they are definitely worth investigating.
Couldn't find a grain weight anywhere on the packaging. Wil snoop around google and see what I can find out.

Hopefully escape to the pit Friday sometime for a quick test...

From what I've been able to find they are 7.0 gr- will look a bit more.

Interesting. Saw these at the local PA store.

When I enlarged the picture using the crtl button and + button on my keyboard, I was unable to see ANY round skirts
but did see a lot of 'flock', meaning defects, etc.
Each to his own, but I did not think they were worth the money/air/nitrogen/time.

Not worth 5 cents for the whole tin. Last winter I bought 10 tubs on sale. Still have 6 tubs. They are the most inconsistent flying pellets I have ever shot. Tried in a couple/three rifles and shooting 15 feet every 3rd shot you would have a four inch flyer. Yes a four inch flyer every third shot at 15 feet. If they gave them away for free I would leave them at the store. Pay the shipping and I would mail them to you free what I have left. You could melt them down and make some slugs or a boat anchor.

Those pics were taken with the phone- which has been known to distort things on a fairly regular basis.

I did make it out to wood tick country.
It was very windy and gusty out there.
Ran them through a few of my .177's and was less than impressed....

The chaser carbine detests them.

My 1760 bbl'd 13-77 carbine shot the above "group" at 15 yds with the little spike scope set to 12X. Target diameter is 2-1/2".

In all honesty, I can't recommend these pellets. I did notice some severe head diameter variations in the 700-W pumper and the chaser carbine. The bolt would either close very hard, or very easily from one pellet to the next. From what I'm seeing on the target board, individual pellet weight is not very consistent. They don't especially strike me as a 7 grain pellet, and trajector more like an 8.2 gr with my scope set ups.

I have some springers to try them in, but am in no rush. For the 3 bucks and change I'm out, lesson learned  . Sometimes you do get what you pay for...

This place is weird.

Last pellet review I did here got moved to general a/g chat.

Make up your mind.

We're all weird in our own way, Doc. :)

One post may be a, "Hey, I shot a bunch of these pellets."

Another post may be a report on a new pellet, followed by some outside comments/perspectives, and then summarized with a concluding retrospective by the original poster.

Sometimes it's a tough call as to whether it's really a review. This one meets the criteria for a "review" (see sticky in the review section).

Just tryin' to keep it real, Doc :)
