I'm interested in buying a French ''Fusil de Chasse'' (flintlock rifle) from them, and would like to know if anybody has any experience with them. Their prices are very attractive, and that particular gun is beautiful: http://www.loyalistarms.freeservers.com/tradeguns.html . They don't mention the country of manufacture though, they only say it's made ''overseas''. They give a 6 months warranty on all moving parts and a one-year warranty on springs, does that sounds good?

The link you gave said new trade guns for 2006. I would suspect that their old site. When I googled the company to see if they are still in business and new website came up. https://www.loyalistarms.ca/ I would call them up.

That would be the best, Being that probably nobody here has dealt with them. You could ask on CGN, or a larger firearm forum. But being on them, I cannot say I heard the name, brought up alot or at all. I know where they are, I lived not to far from them. They're a home based business.

I have worked with these guys for years on movies. They are not a regular gun retailer but they are good folks.

Well I had a reply to my first email. I've asked 4 or 5 questions, and they answered to only one, namely where are their guns made. Answer: in India. I saw good and very bad comments about that, I'm not quite sure I want to take risks, even if I pass on a good deal, so I think I'll let that one go.

On the other hand, I already had a flintlock Tennessee long rifle ordered from Track of the Wolf, so it's not too bad I guess :) . It's already at my local PO, I just arrived too late today to pick it up :hsmash  . To those interested, here's a link to it: https://www.trackofthewolf.com/Categori ... /1/AAS-052 . I'll start a new topic when I'll have it in my hands.
