ALT TITLE: I am not smarter than a 14 year old

Not a joke but a funny story.

I was showing and dry fireing my air gun to a 14yo. He asked why there was smoke coming out of the barrel if it was powered by air. I told him it wasn't smoke but water vapor because the air gets warm when compressed and cold expands and um...

I stumbled in my explanation so he whipped out a smartphone stared at it for a couple of minutes. After a while I asked him do you have it figured out yet?

He looked up from his phone and said "thermal dynamics is a b****"

Good, Cheap, Fast; pick two.

Dry firing your airgun? Hope it wasn't a springer...

Springers heat the air, they don't cool it like a PCP.... so no fog from the muzzle.... 'course maybe it WAS smoke....

Too many! Springers, Pumpers, CO2, but I love my PCPs and developing them!
