There's a really long time after I obtained this awesome nice rifle from one of the gentlemen in the forum, and I looks forgot to post any pictures up here to share with people.... Although I did shoot many good pictures of it...

It's really beautiful.... Impressive... No need to mention the performance and accuracy, we only talk about how she looks....

Just can't forgive why I didn't post the pictures right after I opened the box... Maybe the same reason I put a scope on it after using the open sights for s while... My memory is getting worse like my eye sights...

Here comes the shots ~ We have open sights, scope and cottage trip ~ [emoji38]ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Is the little lever on the side some sort of safety device?

That's a special design for the hw35 than other springers... That's a release lever for the barrel. It's not really a 'break' barrel, you need to push the lever to release the barrel lock and cock and load the gun. You can't just use a force apply on the barrel without release the lock first to break it open... It's said, the barrel lock design will lock the barrel on the same position after each time you cock the gun and slap it back to increase accuracy....

The HW35 has its own long history... Very interesting ~

Sweet, Ken. I've been thinking about this rifle as my first (and likely only) springer.

I'm wondering if the design of the scope you're using is giving you enough eye relief to view the site comfortably.

Also, thanks for the great job you did on preparing the images for "comfortable" on-screen viewing in the forum environment.

Thanks Edmonton<500~ Original photo sizes are 4000x2200 pixel, if anyone interested let me know and I can send it through PM... I don't like the super big pictures showing on the screen as well the too small sized pic that lost the details... Love to see you like these pictures ~ [emoji38]

The eye relief is good for me as I am not very big shape, just 1.7m tall, for a comfortable shooting pose for myself, the setup of this Hawke 40mm AO on the 35 is just good~

Hello Pete ~ smaller place is good thought... I think you only need another scope with closer parallax setup, like the UTGs, right?! ;-)

it,s a bit too small-- only about 20ft from garage door to targets. not bad for my pistols. but a little close for rifles . that's the reason I have my qb78d up for sale on the forum. I have a utg bug buster scope still brand new in the box I,ve never used. it is good at 3yds and farther.

Thanks Duke ~ She has been well taken care of all the time ~ every time after shooting, I use microfiber cloth clean it with Renaissance wax before putting back on the wall or in the soft-case.... :-)

Very nice rifles. When I was 11 years old, I would have given my front teeth for a HW 35 or E.
My dad went with me to the local guns shop to buy a pellet rifle, they were closed due to renovations, so got in the car and went home, but got a fake copy of a Daisy Red Ryder, that I bought from a friend for $10.

Isn't that your dad knew the shop was closed before taking you to?! ;-)

Just joking ~

my dad not allowed me for this kind of 'sport' when I was a kid and my first air gun in the history was an Airsoft BB pistol from my mom when I was in senior high school...
