Thanks grabed some chamber oil

Still got the issue of the excess of the Pelloil in the chamber. Try storing the gun with the muzzle down. See if any runs out of the transfer port, then clean the barrel and breech face. Before adding any oil.

Shot about 1000 rounds thru it since using pelgun oil. Cleaned barrel with IPA and put some chamber oil in shot another 3 to 400 rounds and am just now after the last say 50 rounds noticing the velocity issue to go away tommorow going to add more chamber and the velocity issue should be gone.

Don't add any more oil you need none and as was suggested let sit with the barrel down for a day or two

Manuals are for reference only, and we should learn from the real experts and others (and yourself's) real world experience ~ ;-)

You see you made about 1000 shots to clean that drop of pellgunoil, if you keep adding one drop every 250, are you making your chamber as the other container for the oil?! [emoji38]

And later soon, you will not only seeing the smoke but also the oil spills out from the muzzle? That's horrible ~ just kidding, don't mind ~

LOL make it every 2500 and if you must just a drop or two every year ....All that oil is going to make your gun velocity all over the place its going to foul the bore and attacked all the dirt .....

Think of it as like Car Maintenance. You get the oil change and notice a sticker with a KM and a date. Same logic applies. Change it before the said KM and if you don't put that many KM's on your car, change it when it hits that date.

So if you shoot 2500 pellets put a drop, if you don't put 2500 pellets, put a drop when a year hits. Basically whatever comes first.

When it starts sounding like a goose, then add oil.

Pelgun oil is just dyed 30W non detergent oil. It's not good for the combustion chamber, because it can cause dieseling, and damage to the seals.

WOW, again with this Pellgun oil story? I can't believe some people still think it's non detergent...
The manufacturer actually state it has "exceptional detergency".
That info has been available for quite a while now.

The pellgun oil MSDS is available right here:
https://www.crosman.com/media/pdf/msds/SDS-PELLGUNOIL.pdf

And to save people some trouble here is the manufacturer flyer for the actual oil
https://www.lelubricants.com/lit/flyers/8430-8450%20Product%20Info.pdf

That's what pellgun oil actually is.

Actually what's this 'detergent' use for in this case?
