Not too long ago I bought and re-sealed an old but good Crosman 137 pump pistol (the ancestor of the 1377). Only thing was that it had no sights to speak of. So I had to make new ones. The original rear one is a simple bent piece of sheet metal, with a bit of windage and no elevation adjustment. The one I made has windage and elevation, and it's easy to adjust. I also had to rebuild the front plastic sight blade. I still have a minor pump issue to fix and the pistol will be good. Here it is in its current state, with the original grips:

Update: The pistol shoots well in the low 400s (418).

Also, I discovered today that a 1399 stock fits perfectly on the Crosman 137 and 150 pistols. Maybe I'm living under a big rock, but I didn't know about that! You have to lightly force open the grip of the 1399 stock over the 137 grip frame pins, but once it's passed, it slides nicely in place. The screw holes align perfectly, and despite the big gap between the grip and grip frame on the bottom, there's no wobble at all. That's cool, I like shooting a pistol with a carbine stock at times, knowing it's that easy to swap the grips for the stock is nice! Another nice thing would be a 12'' or 14'' barrel, to complete the carbine look. Hmmm, I have a spare Crosman 1400 barrel... :)

Thank you :) . Also I believe the 137 and 150 are also good candidates for mounting a scope using the Crosman #459 mounts, their barrels are much better held in place, they won't rotate. Or maybe I should try the old school Crosman mounts I have 8) .

Not on these models, the breeches are kinda integrated. On the 150 the breech Is cut in the rear part of the barrel, and on the 137 I think the barrel is pressed/soldered into the breech, so one can't use a modern steel breech :( . But there are other options :) .
