I just received a PCP hand pump with an empty gauge :( Apparently can't ship it air with the oil in it due the flammability.
What should I use to fill it? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, new to these.

Silicon oil is what most fill it with. You can buy a 3 pack at Canadian tire here https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/hori ... #store=263
And you can use it to lubricate orings in pcp guns as well.
Or if you have amazon prime you can buy nicer bottles here Treadmill Belt Lubricant (3... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01IX28D0U?ref ... b_ap_share

The Canadian Tire kit appears to be the better value as you get 5 fluid ounces, versus 3 from the Amazon Deal...

I bought one from China, also without oil. The gauge works without oil, but if you must, silicon oil works.

This is true, and for gauges the Canadian tire is best, but for guns the amazon ones are much nicer, easier to control the drops.

Does that apply to the air cylinder as well? I just ordered a Altaros regulator, would this Silicone oil also be appropriate for lubing the O-rings of the Reg and new fill assembly?

Yes sir, works great for internal orings. Silicone oil is pretty much the only common product safe to use in high pressure situations.

On the PCP hand pump I bought from China they said to use glycerin. I bought some but haven't put it in yet (as I've mostly been using a Yong Heng pump).

Cool. That's vegetable glycerin or is there some other kind needed?

Yeah, they didn't really specify (although probably not the "Nitro" type :-).
