Hi Everyone,

Stu from Calgary. I’m an RPAL holder who’s been curious about airguns for a while but I recently got really curious when I found out that I can use a sub 500 FPS pistol on small game here in Alberta. My Crosman 2240 just arrived in the mail tonight and I’m looking forward to shooting it and mod’ing it as well.

Cheers

Nice to see Alberta has a friendly regulation than others... Usually not related to muzzle velocity, just a pistol is the reason that forbidden in hunting...

Welcome Stu..!

Always nice to have a fellow Calgarian join us here.

The 2240 will work great for small game unless it's cold.
It would be nice to have a PCP rig to use when C02 fizzles out in winter.

Like you, I'm just starting out in the pursuit of small game with Air Guns.
If nothing else, I expect the exercise will do me some good while the Rabbits and Grouse are laughing at me from the thick stuff . :)

Welcome! If you are interested, We have an upcoming shoot at the Calgary Rifle and Pistol Club on the 21st. Starts at 1:00. PM me or rocker45 for more info.
It's an informal plinking session.

Welcome from another Calgarian. I just got back into air guns after a long time away. I'm hoping to take in the shoot on the 21st. Hope to see you there.

Sorry, that should have said the 20th, not the 21st.
